COMPOZIMA initiates, maintains and accelerates the composting process, and prevents the formation of unpleasant odours.
It is a product consisting of a mixture of enzymes (lipase, amylase, protease, cellulase, chitinase), supported by naturally occurring polymeric units and a consortium of selected microorganisms (aerobic bacteria, anaerobic bacteria, facultative bacteria, eumycetes, actinomycetes, nitrifying, denitrifying and sulphoxidising organisms) contained in honeycomb-structured microgranules, which enable organic waste to be rapidly converted into humus ready for use.
Furthermore, COMPOZIM eliminates the unpleasant odours typically associated with rotting waste.
During the decomposition process, the inoculated microorganisms modify the organic substances, transforming unstable, readily available high-energy substances (proteins, sugars, cellulose, fats) into more stable compounds with a slow-release energy content (humic substances). At the end of this bioprocessing process, the aforementioned materials are transformed into humified organic matter, which can be used to return to the soil a substantial proportion of the organic matter that is mineralised each year and to enrich the humus content required for agriculture.
