Calcium is one of the key elements that determine the quality of any fruit, and in particular that of a bunch of grapes. Even in soils where it is present, it is often absorbed and translocated in insufficient quantities to meet the plants’ requirements. The presence of enzymes, amino acids and organic carbon ensures rapid and high levels of cuticular and stomatal uptake, as well as rapid translocation into the tissues.
